I have heard about Isntree on Instagram for several months now, so I was curious enough to purchase a few products from them on Stylekorean during Black Friday sale, with a very reasonable price – $11!

NOTABLE INGREDIENT:

• Propanediol: acts as a humectant – moisture retaining, which means it can reduce water loss and soften your skin.

• 5 Types of Hyaluronic Acid: with different molecular size – provides intensive moisturization and fast absorption.

• Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract: anti oxidant, anti-inflammatory effect.

ABOUT THE TEXTURE:

The easiest way to describe this to you is: it has a texture just like snail mucin – but less sticky than that.

The consistency is a thick, sticky, clear gel.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS TONER:

I have been using this toner for about a month now, right after taking a shower.

Why ? Because after taking a bath, my skin is super dry even though I have oily skin most of the time. But it tends to lend toward drier side during the winter.

• Different molecular sizes are great to deliver a quick and less-time consuming skin care routine because of fast-absorption property.

• So I use this toner (or you can tell it’s an ampoule) as a pre-skincare routine step, just to prep my face, provide the pores some moisture before applying anything else later on at night.

• I’m still consider myself an acne prone skin because I still have some pimples (I don’t have a perfect skin hehe), but I haven’t experienced any skin irritation or instance inflammatory after applying this toner.

• If you use this toner consistently enough, it does help to improve skin texture! So I decide to provide an extra moisture for my hands by using this during the date （Lotion for hands are not enough now…)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING THIS:

• The texture is thick and dense. So it’s a bit sticky. My very own solution for this is to apply using a cotton pad – in this way, your hands feel less sticky.

• No scent at all – perfect for those who are sensitive to scent.

• Some toners did a great job in taking off left over dirt in pores. You can see that dirtyness clearly when you are using a cotton pad. However, for this one, it works just great as a moisturizer/ampoule. So don’t expect to feel a super clean skin.

• It works great for my oily-combination, acne prone skin. So I believe, normal to dry skin might love this.
